Meet Our Team

Originally from Upstate New York, Tasha is a true animal lover. She is a natural when it comes to handling pets. She is one of our most experienced staff members. She is also a groomer specializing in larger dog breeds, de-shedding heavy coats, shave downs, and summer cuts.

Originally from Upstate New York, Kalie has been with us for eight years. She is a natural when working with pets. She claims that her dog, Fish, is her princess. She is an excellent dog trainer with a keen eye for identifying and solving unwanted or problematic behaviors. Kalie handles all of our residential training and achieves great results.

Her full first name is Nezingar, but as you can see, everyone calls her Zinga. She has been with us since 2023. Zinga is fun and easygoing. She loves playing, dancing, and singing with the dogs in daycare. Zinga is just plain positive. She has a great personality and also takes her role of keeping the pets safe and the environment clean very seriously! We are happy she’s with us!

Originally from Colorado, Susan discovered her love for grooming by watching her grandmother’s poodle, Sparky, get a groom. We hate to say it, but watching Sparky ignited her passion! She has been grooming for over 20 years and has been with us at MY BUDDIES PET CARE since 2024. She rides a Harley to work every day, which speaks to her free and fun-loving personality. Susan’s favorite state of being is smiling and being positive, caring, and helpful. She has an honest-to-goodness twinkle in her eyes. We feel lucky to have her with us!

Originally from Staten Island, Alivia learned her craft from her mother and other family members. She has been with us since 2024. She has been a professional for three years and is meticulous and patient, ensuring every dog she grooms looks perfect and has a great experience. She’s brought a great attitude and positivity to work every day! Thanks for being with us, Alivia!

Janine has been grooming for over 10 years. Her interest came following a poor grooming experience with her own dog. Janine tends to take negatives, turning them into positives by bringing her calm, caring attitude to bear. She feels it is important to bring her kind, professional approach to every dog she grooms. She’s our newest groomer and has been described as delightful by her peers. Thank you, Janine, for being a wonderful new addition to the team.

Originally from Boston, MA, Maggie has traveled the world but found her way back to Florida to be closer to her family. She and her family owned a dog daycare and grooming facility in Sarasota several years back. The crazy dog lady, Maggie, has three of her own. She is easily the most gregarious member of our staff. Maggie loves her role and gets excited working with dogs every day! She ensures safety and care for all!

Originally from Upstate New York, Amanda has been grooming for over 25 years. Amanda has been with MY BUDDIES PET CARE for over 11 years. She’s our longest-tenured employee. With her calm demeanor and personality, she provides a stress-free groom for all her dogs and cats. Amanda’s know-how and experience in the field are key to our success! We are lucky she’s with us. To know Amanda is to love her!

Tom loves dogs with a capital L. He brings his passion and experience to his training sessions. He’s been training dogs for over 35 years. He could train and talk dogs all day long. He and our staff pride themselves on bringing out the very best in every dog and owner possible!
